Karen's experience includes:

Coaching individuals for personal change to overcome issues such as panic attacks when running meetings, overwhelm at work and procrastination.
Redesigning the national learning and development curriculum for KPMG NZ, including defining skills streams, evaluating existing programmes and assisting in the design of new ones.
Delivering Trainer's Training for KPMG globally to help them develop internal capability for delivering skills programmes, including Brussels, Budapest and Cayman Islands in 2006.
Designing and delivering skills training for KPMG New Zealand in the areas of people management, communication, leading projects, networking and understanding others.
Advising on a global skills training framework for KPMG's global learning and development group. The framework consists of twenty programmes covering all levels of the business and a broad range of KPMG's global skills and behaviours from 'managing my own performance' and 'leading others', to 'effective negotiation skills' and 'building client relationships'.
Supporting the launch of global performance management programme for KPMG International, including design of trainer and end-user materials, delivery of regional train-the-trainer programmes, and in-country delivery to people managers.
Developing global toolkit for HR teams, Senior Partners and Trainers to support of the launch of KPMG International's new web-based performance management system. Included facilitation guide for trainers, end-user materials for staff at all levels and 'quick-start' cards for easy access to the system. The toolkit was launched globally in September 2005.
Leading CSR project on behalf of Water for Fish for an independent charity, Nomad (both in Henley, UK). The project was focused around change management and team building to help the Nomad team respond to changing community needs and their desire to broaden their skills and ways of working. Included working with the Nomad team in the early stages to identify needs and appropriate approaches as well as training design and delivery.
Redesigning European New Manager skills programme for KPMG's European Training Centre in Brussels, delivered annually to newly promoted managers.

Sophocles
Performance management programme for experienced managers designed for Aegis Media Nordic, Scandinavia media communications group with turnover of €555 million. Included training needs analysis as well as discussions exploring the challenges around performance management and how building skills in managers, directors and partners can support the process. Final programme was delivered in Norway, Finland and Sweden. A redesign of the goal setting process and associated documentation followed.
Implementing global performance management process for KPMG Slovakia; including planning and execution for roll out to all levels including designing communication materials, preparing end user and training materials, delivering presentations and training, and providing one-on-one coaching.
Supporting the roll-out of KPMG International's new global competencies by developing a 'toolkit' for use in-country. Included identifying needs of all regions around the world, design of end-user materials, trainer's guides and communication materials.
Regional responsibility for performance management implementation and effectiveness across 15 KPMG practices in Central and Eastern Europe, including country-specific implementation planning and execution, design and delivery of training at all levels including skills workshops and manager programmes, and designing additional (competency) assessment tools to help managers with assessment and development planning and to promote consistency across the region.
